Fuji Five Lakes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Fuji Five Lakes is the collective name for the five lakes on the Yamanashi Prefecture side of Mt. Fuji, namely, Kawaguchi, Motosuko, Shojiko, Nishiko, and Yamanakako. Fuji was registered as a World Heritage site as “Mt. Fuji: Object of Faith and Source of Art,” the Fuji Five Lakes were also registered as a component of the World Heritage site because they have long been depicted in many works of art as places of scenic beauty and have played an important role in the faith of Mt.Fuji<\/p>\n

There are many places around the five lakes of Fuji where you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji without having to climb Mt.Fuji.
\nIn summer, canoeing, kayaking, SUP, fishing, etc. are available.<\/p>\n

\u30fbOshino Hakkai – Fuji eruption, melted snow water flowed through the lava and took several decades to flow into these eight spring-fed ponds.<\/p>\n

\u30fbArakurayama Sengen Park – A sightseeing spot that you definitely do not want to miss. Especially in spring, from the observation deck at the top of the stone steps, you can enjoy the beautiful view of cherry blossoms, the five-story pagoda, and Mt. Fuji, and the town of Fujiyoshida spread out below, it is truly one of the most beautiful spots representing the Fuji Five Lakes.<\/p>\n

Minami Boso Peninsula<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Boso Peninsula is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east, south, and west. The coastal area offers a rich variety of seafood, marine sports, and spectacular views of the mysterious nature created by the sea. On the other hand, the interior of the peninsula is hilly and mountainous, and the peninsula as a whole offers a rich variety of landscapes.<\/p>\n

Mt. Tsukuba<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mt. Tsukuba is a mountain that can be reached in two hours from Tokyo, and is known as a mountain climb that can be enjoyed by a variety of people, from beginners to advanced climbers.
\nTsukuba Plum Grove is a sightseeing spot with a vast site of approximately 4 hectares.<\/p>\n

The park is planted with various kinds of plum trees, including white, red, and edge plum trees, and the early plum blossoms bloom beautifully in late January. The contrast between the giant rocks of Mt. Tsukuba and the plum blossoms is worth seeing.<\/p>\n

Kujukuri<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kujukuri is blessed with good quality waves suitable for surfing throughout the year, and is popular with many surfers both in Japan and overseas. It is known as a surfing venue for the Olympics. Spending the night in an autobahn car while listening to the sound of waves on the beach is sure to be a wonderful memory. There are many fresh and delicious seafood restaurants in the area. After you’ve enjoyed your seafood and beer, you might want to get up early the next morning to try your hand at surfing!<\/p>\n

The author loves the beach where she stayed with a friend who is a good surfer. There is a restaurant within walking distance and camping is free. Drinking beer while watching the waves and the stars on a midsummer night was the best!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
