TOKYO
My girlfriend and I spent two unforgettable weeks traveling through Japan in a campervan from Travellers Autobarn – it was truly the trip of a lifetime! The service was fantastic from the very beginning. Travellers Autobarn not only provided us with a seamless handover of the van but also helped us translate our international driver’s licenses into Japanese. Without their assistance, this could have been a stressful process, but thanks to them, everything went smoothly, and we were ready to hit the road. The campervan itself was perfect for our road trip: compact, super practical, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed – a comfortable sleeping area, a small kitchenette, and plenty of storage for our luggage. Our adventure took us to some of Japan’s most beautiful destinations. One of the highlights was definitely spending the night in the campervan with a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. Waking up to see the sunrise over this iconic mountain, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, was pure magic! Of course, we also visited the vibrant cities of Osaka and Kyoto, and after busy days exploring, it was so nice to retreat...

Travellers Autobarn Japan offers the perfect van to roam the streets of Japan. After 3 weeks on the road we covered 4000km with ease. The van‘s are spacious, well maintained and equipped with everything you need. It’s safe to say we had the best time we could have wished for. Special thanks to the staff, which was always super friendly and made this trip one to remember. We‘ll be happy to come back 🚐 🇯🇵 🗻
This was our second time renting a camper van from Travellers Autobarn Japan. On this 8-day, 7-night trip, we drove from Tokyo all the way to Aomori, then returned to Tokyo along the scenic coastal route. Along the way, we saw many breathtaking views. I highly recommend traveling through Japan in a camper van for a truly unique experience.
It was a very nice experience to rent an RV from Travellers Autobahn. The car was easy to drive, and worked just as it should. It has a kitchen inside, and a table and two benches. You can take the table down, and make a bed instead for your nights. We drove 1000 km's in a week, and there were no problems with the car. For us, it was very hot inside when the aircondition was turned off inside (warm weather) so we bought a fan 😁 I can recommend to use this place, for a RV adventure in Japan. Just be sure to have a drivers license, credit card, international drivers license and to check the weather.
My girlfriend and I rented the Kuga Campervan with Travellers Autobarn Japan and had the most epic road trip exploring Japan's hidden gems! Our trusty home on wheels allowed us to have freedom on the open road and visit many off the beaten track destinations. We highly recommend and will definitely be back again in the future to explore more that the beautiful country has to offer :)
