Strawberry Picking at Farm Ichigo World

Day 1 Morning - Miyagi Prefecture

“Ichigo-gari” refers to the Japanese tradition of strawberry picking, where people visit strawberry farms to harvest fresh, ripe strawberries. This popular activity typically runs from late winter to spring (around January to May). Participants pick and eat as many strawberries as they can consume in a designated amount of time. Ichigo-gari is a fun and family-friendly experience, and it is a great way to enjoy fresh fruit while spending time outdoors.

Day 1 Afternoon - Miyagi Prefecture

Day2 Morning - Miyagi Prefecture

Day 2 Iwate Prefecture

Geibikei Gorge, located in the southern part of Iwate Prefecture, is a beautiful natural site.  Known as one of Japan’s Three Great Gorges, it offers stunning limestone cliffs and peaceful boat rides. Visitors can enjoy a 90-minute boat tour, where boatmen share local stories and sing traditional songs. The gorge is lovely year-round, from cherry blossoms in spring to vibrant autumn colors and snowy winter scenes.
